These terms cover your use of Glos Cake as a bakery. By registering a shop you agree to them.
What the service is
Glos Cake gives you software to run an online bakery storefront: a product catalogue, orders, payments, delivery settings, marketing tools and an admin panel. We provide the software. You run the bakery.
What you are responsible for
- The accuracy of what you list — prices, ingredients, allergens and images.
- Baking and delivering the orders your customers place, and dealing with them when something goes wrong.
- Holding whatever licences your business needs, including FSSAI registration where it applies.
- Your own tax obligations, including GST. The platform can produce invoices; it does not file anything for you.
- Publishing accurate policies on your storefront. We supply working defaults; they are a starting point, not legal advice.
Payments and commission
We charge a fixed subscription fee — currently ₹3,333 per year. We take no commission on your orders. Money from your customers goes to your own payment account, not through ours.
Trials, renewal and lapsing
New shops start on a free trial where one is offered. When a subscription lapses, your data stays intact and you keep read access to your panel so you can renew — but new orders stop and changes cannot be saved until you do.
Suspension
We may suspend a shop that breaches these terms, is used for anything unlawful, or is used to sell something other than food and related goods. A suspended shop's storefront closes and its owner loses panel access. We will tell you why, and you can ask us to review it.
Your data and your content
Your products, images, customer list and order history remain yours. We claim no ownership of them and we do not use them to run anyone else's shop. You can export your data, and you can ask us to delete your shop entirely.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, hosting failures and network problems can interrupt it. We are not liable for orders you lose during an outage.
Limits of our liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or lost business.
Ending the agreement
You can close your shop at any time from your panel. Fees already paid are covered by your shop's refund arrangement with us; a partial period is not refunded unless we have failed to provide the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
